Her party is Polka Dot themed! I already have plates...they are red, pink, and green plates with white polka dots. Then I have cups and napkins that are pink with white polka dots that say the Big ONE! I am also gonna get different colors of paper and use a hole punch and make lots of dots to put on the tables as polka dots!! We are also gonna have an air castle! It just happens that where I work OWNS an air castle (a smaller one) so I am just using that!! We will also be having lunch (probably sub sandwiches for everyone) drinks and CAKE of COURSE!!!!!!
I am also getting party favors! Already have a few but need to get a couple more! Plus there are like 8 kids FOR SURE coming!!!! So I need to have like 10 party favors just in case more show lol!
It is funny how years ago the 1st birthday parties were low key...no one did much because the kid's only 1...they won't remember! NOW its like the BIGGEST party!! It is your childs FIRST birthday! THATS HUGE!! I love Tori Spelling (besides how her and Dean got together) but she is so REAL! She threw her daughters first birthday party and it was LadyBug Themed. She went ALL out but I mean they have a lot more money than us! Anyway I love how she LOVES parties and makes it ALL about the kid! So anyway....Im so excited! I need to get some streamers/decorations too. but that can wait! Anyway! Have a great day everyone!!

Brenna, you are such a great mommy! I always get so much criticism because I throw HUGE birthday parties for my kids (even first birthdays). I KNOW they won't remember it but it's a big day for mommy and daddy too.. to celebrate this precious life! So take LOTS of pictures and you can show her when she is older. I figure they only get ONE day dedicated to just them a year so better make it good.. even if she is only ONE! So you go girl! :)
Still praying for your court date, by the way! It's in God's hand. You and John have learned more trust and patience then you probably ever wanted to but God is doing great things in your life! HUGS!!!!
